Yet again the tentacle returns after a long period.
As most who watch know, I've been working on Zombie Tramp. If you're here because you dig zombie tramp and the work I do on it, I'm letting you know that I won't be working on the next 4 books. 5,6,7 and 8 will be drawn by various artist and I will be returning on book 9.
Working in a professional capacity is strange! There's this thing called teamwork or something. Up until now, I've pretty much been a solo act and my ability to work with others has been a bit lacking but I'm getting into the groove. Even though I fail at communication sometimes, the team I'm working with is really easy going and flexible making things run a lot smoother. The biggest obstacles I'm facing are adding more backgrounds (all them buildings and vehicles x.x) and heavier inks. I'm not used to applying such heavy inks but it seems to be generally better for the comics medium. The first couple comics are a bit light on the inks with a couple of exceptions where I'm experimenting. This being an example
I was pretty happy with the outcome of this one.
Anyways, that's it for ZT now on to other things.
Now onto Cutepet! I've been slow as hell getting them pages but they have the patience of saints and hopefully the audience that watches me for my cutepet stuff does as well, haha. If you're a fan of my cutepet work, you may be happy to know a new comic is incoming and it's over half way done. Yes, over halfway! The comic was fully planned from the start and it will be completed. Yep, a complete story! That may sound strange but it has been a strategy of ours to provide just a couple of pages to see how well the audience takes to the story/tone/content before we continue since no one likes having their time wasted. That being said, all though it's a different approach, I'm pretty sure this comic will be exciting. If you don't know what cutepet.org is, you should check it out as it has some amazing artist/owners but be warned, it's adult oriented. I write/draw/ink/color a random assortment of comics for them.
So, what about Nao? That comic has basically been put on hold as I'm not making any money doing it. I have been looking into funding options however that look promising, but would require me to promote/commercialize myself which is a bit tedious. I'm lazy when it comes to things like that. I can barely post to a single group on deviantart or create a journal entry to let people know what's up, much less post on other sites, lol. For now, you can enjoy many nice sketches as she tends to be my go to when I don't feel like drawing anything in particular.
last but not least, commissions!
They are still closed.
I appreciate so many being interested in commissions but I'm not currently able to accept any. I can't give a date when I'd be able to open back up either since I don't see any openings in my schedule for the foreseeable future. I miss doing commissions for those who partook though, it was very enjoyable turning your ideas into something others could see...no matter how naughty,
Sorry if my english/grammar are off. Too lazy/busy to correct.
